The Cardiology Service of the Heart Institute of the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital participated in the Annual Congress of the Association of Acute Cardiological Care (ACVC) of the European Society of Cardiology 2025, held in Florence on March 14-15.

Dr. Cosme García, Head of the Cardiology Service, Dr. Elena Collado and Dr. Daniel Casquete, Assistant Physicians; and Mireia Llevadot and Sara Aparicio, Resident Physicians, participated in the different sessions of #ACVC2025.

Our cardiologists presented a total of 5 communications, on the “Evolution of primary ventricular fibrillation in the last 15 years in the era of the AMI Code”; a substudy of the Shock CAT registry on patients with cardiac arrest or different clinical cases on cardiogenic shock or endocarditis.

The active participation of cardiology residents in the preparation and presentation of clinical cases is noteworthy.
