Three studies with the active participation of the Heart Institute of the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital (iCor) were presented at the 2025 Congress of the American College of Cardiology, organized in Chicago (United States).

Among more than 4,000 scientific research proposals, ACC 2025 included in its scientific program three research studies carried out by Professor Antoni Bayés-Genís, director of the iCor Germans Trias, and Dr. Victòria Vilalta, assistant physician of the Hemodynamics and Interventional Cardiology Unit.

The ACC Annual Scientific Session is one of the most important conferences in which cardiologists from around the world share their research and discuss the results with the best international experts.

In addition, this iCor research was published in three of the world’s highest-rated cardiovascular journals: The New England Journal of Medicine, Jama Network and The Nature Medicine.
