Dr. Maria José Martínez, Resident Physician at iCor during 2015 and 2020, has defended her doctoral thesis entitled ‘Analysis of the most frequent complications of acute myocardial infarction: from heart failure to atrial fibrillation.’ Mortality in the acute phase and long-term prognosis’.
The Head of the Cardiology Service, Dr. Cosme Garcia, was the Director of his doctoral thesis, and Dr. Antoni Bayés, Clinical Head of iCor, was his Tutor.
In addition, she was accompanied by Dr. Edgar Fadeuilhe, Resident Physician in Hemodynamics, and Dr. Júlia Aranyó, Assistant Physician of Electrophysiology, and fellow residents of Dra. Martínez during her training at iCor, and Dra. Elisabet Zamora, Head of the Hospitalization Unit.
