Heart Failure Clinic
The Heart Failure Clinic at the Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol is where patients with heart failure (HF) are attended. HF is a pathological syndrome that occurs when the heart is unable to expel the blood that comes in each cardiac cycle propperly. This Clinic was created in 2001 in response to the high rate of people affected by HF and the problems derived from the disease and its treatment, suffered by many patients with HF.
Our primary goal is to educate patients and their families about HF, to improve their quality of life and, of course, to give them the most appropriate and personalized treatment.
The team consists on cardiologists and nurses with cardiology expertise, and other medical specialists and professionals in order to meet patients needs in the best way possible.
