Heart Failure Clinic: procedures

We work as a team aiming to:

Develop an educational programme for monitoring and treating heart failure patients.
Increase compliance with prescribed treatment.
Improve the quality of life of patients with heart failure.
Reduce the number of emergency admissions.
Improve patient treatment.
Reduce the amount of days of hospitalization.
Participate in clinical trials.

Between 2001-2012 we attended more than 1.500 patients in more than 30.000 visits.

We have published 39 manuscripts, 194 congress communications and we’ve participated in 18 multicenter clinical trials.

This work has been recognized with the 8 awards.

We are co-author of a heart failure guide: guia pràctica per al pacient amb Insuficiència Cardíaca edited by the Catalan administration.
