Body composition and nutrition in patients with heart failure
A considerable percentage of patients with heart failure suffer from malnutrition, affecting their quality of life and a prognosis. Due to the difficulty of knowing the dry weight of these patients and the obesity paradox, it is important to make a good nutritional assessment and recommendations on diet and liquid consumption as part of the overall treatment.
